After working in education for many years, Sara found a new calling in supporting older adults and their families as they navigated the complicated world of aging and healthcare. Sara earned a Master’s of Science in Social Work (MSSW) from the Steve Hicks School of Social Work at the University of Texas at Austin. She received specialized training in working with older adults through the Gerontology Resources and the Aging Community in Education (GRACE) program. Sara’s experience includes providing care management to older adults in the community and working with people diagnosed with dementia, their caregivers and loved ones.
