Come hear Lindsey Jordan, Program Specialist at Children’s Advocacy Centers of Texas, as she discusses children’s advocacy centers.

Children’s advocacy centers (CACs) are nonprofit organizations that support and coordinate the efforts of the multidisciplinary teams that investigate child abuse cases, including law enforcement, CPS, and prosecution. In addition, CACs provide comprehensive family advocacy and victim support services, as well as evidence-based, trauma-focused mental health services. There are currently 69 children’s advocacy centers throughout the state of Texas, offering a wide range of career opportunities for both clinical and administrative social workers.
