“I hate networking” is a statement often made by students and professionals alike. In this workshop facilitated by Erin Cantrell-Martinez, Interim Director of the DiNitto Career Center, we will discover ways to reimagine what it means to network and how to create positive networking experiences that feel supportive and generative. One of the meanings of the word “network” in the Webster Dictionary “is an interconnected or interrelated chain, group, or system”. Thinking about our interconnectedness with others and how we can network in a reciprocal way can help us maintain and nurture our professional relationships.
