To apply for a position as SWEEP Mentor, students must meet the following qualifications:

  • Full time enrollment during the semester of SWEEP Mentorship
  • Successful completion or current enrollment in S W 312 at time of application
  • In-residence, 3.7 GPA within Social Work at time of application

Advantages of SWEEP Mentorship

  • Attend routine team meetings for planning program activities and events
  • Proactive, regular contact with mentees through both individual and group communication and activities
  • Provide timely updates to BSW Advising Staff on cohort status and progress
