SHS to welcome Philip Hong as next SHS Distinguished Speaker

SHS welcomes Philip Hong, Ph.D., dean of the School of Social Work at the University of Georgia, as its next SHS Distinguished Speaker.

Dean Hong will be addressing the Steve Hicks School on social work education policy and issues, as well as topics in university development, social work education ethics, and collaboration between state flagship schools of social work. He will also partake in a conversation with Dean Allan Cole and Q&A with the audience on these topics.

This event will take place Thursday, October 17, from 3:30 to 5 p.m. on the second floor of Walter Webb Hall. (405 W. 25th Street, Austin, TX 78705). Light refreshments provided.
