The Institute for Military and Veteran Family Wellness has launched a new video-training library that contains all virtual sessions of the 2020 Military Social Work and Behavioral Health Conference.

The conference, held virtually on July 20-24, 2020, was organized in partnership with the Department of Defense and the Department of Veteran Affairs. The goal of the conference was to facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure innovative and effective systems of mental and behavioral care for the military and veteran communities.

The conference’s keynote speaker was Captain Barry Adams, PhD, the highest- ranking social worker in the U.S. Navy. Throughout the week, more than 50 experts presented on topics such as insomnia, traumatic brain injury, PTSD, suicide prevention, trauma and moral injury, military families, intimate-partner violence, VA care coordination and community collaboration among veteran-serving organizations, and topics relevant to the LGBTQ+ community.

Videos of all sessions are available for purchase with an option to earn CEU’s.
