Andy Davis, LCSW-S, is an Adjunct Assistant Professor teaching MSSW Foundations of Social Work Practice and Generalist Practicum Instruction. He has also taught Motivational Interviewing and Social Work Applied Practice at the BSW level, and serves as a faculty liaison supporting students through their practicum placements.
Andy began his social work career in medical social work, providing hospital-based care prior to and during the COVID-19 pandemic. Today, he owns his private practice and provides clinical supervision to LMSWs pursuing advanced licensure. Prior to entering social work, Andy served for 14 years in the United States Air Force before pursuing his MSSW at The University of Texas at Austin School of Social Work.
