The School of Social Work is fortunate to have a robust faculty of adjunct professors. This practitioner-educator model brings contemporary social work experience and clinical skills to our classrooms.

Research backs this up: students taught by practitioners are more likely to actually work in the field after graduation. Adjuncts have a special superpower with their day-to-day practice experience. They model skills and share accessible experiences with our students. The contributions of this group of faculty cannot be replicated any other way. Their presence on our faculty is one of the richest resources we offer to our BSW and MSSW students who are aiming for licensed practice upon graduation.
