The School of Social Work at The University of Texas at Austin will be attending the Society for Social Work and Research 2026 Annual Conference in Washington, D.C. next week, providing cutting-edge research on a wide variety of social work topics.
This year, more than 40 Texas Social Work faculty, staff and researchers will present on current research topics and collaborate with colleagues from around the country.
Of note, 18 doctoral students and postdoctoral fellows from Texas Social Work will attend the conference, giving insights on their research in areas such as behavioral health interventions, mental health care access, substance misuse, solution-focused brief therapy, and health trajectories among cancer survivors, among others.
