Philanthropy Education Program (PEP)

PEP (Philanthropy Education Program) is an experiential opportunity for students interested in learning more about the role philanthropy plays in funding higher education and non-profit organizations. Sponsored by the UT Social Work Development Office, this is a yearlong learning experience during which students have multiple opportunities to acquire philanthropy-related skills and engage with the Development team, Social Work faculty, staff, alumni and donors.

Active participation in PEP will equip students with an understanding of development and experience in fundraising campaigns, donor stewardship and events.

Applications are currently open and close on Friday, September 5, 2025 at midnight.

Students who successfully complete the requirements of the PEP program will receive a $750 scholarship at the end of the academic year.
