The School of Social Work is collaborating with the Austin Police Department in Restore Rundberg, a community revitalization initiative with the goals of developing creative solutions to crime reduction and community capacity-building in the Rundberg area of North Austin. As part of this initiative, social work students are working with LaunchPad The Center in a photo voice project that gives children in Dobie Middle School the opportunity to express their views about the neighborhood through photography.
