TIEMH is partnering with New York Health + Hospitals, the largest Medicaid purveyor of behavioral health services in New York City, to implement transition age youth mental health teams across 10 healthcare sites. Currently, the TEIMH team is focused on supporting the two initial pilot implementation sites in Brooklyn and Queens. TIEMH is using practice and implementation insights from their federally funded research, and training/implementation technical assistance provided across the United States to systems and agencies who want to better meet the needs of adolescent and young adults diagnosed with more serious mental health conditions.
