Researchers at the School of Social Work’s Texas Institute for Excellence in Mental Health (TIEMH) will provide Mental Health Resource (MHRT) of Texas with organizational change and implementation science expertise to develop organizational project foci and related staffing structures within the Via Hope Recovery Institute (RI). This includes working with the MHRT Director and other MHRT staff to develop programs, activities, and products that support and further recovery orientation in the public mental health and related systems.

MHRT is the only state funded technical assistance center focused on individuals with lived experience, their families and organizations who provide recovery oriented services. As MHRT develops training products and programs to implement throughout the state, it will be critical to include organizational change methods and supports to ensure successful implementation. TIEMH staff will offer this expertise and support.
