The Office of Professional Development (OPD) works with numerous organizations and state agencies to ensure that the expertise of social workers is incorporated into trainings or conferences. A key component of OPD’s mission is to provide robust opportunities for our members to grow professionally – whether it be from participation in a training as an attendee or an instructor.

Below are affiliated programs currently looking for keynote or workshop presentation submissions. Look and see if there are any programs that align with your skills and values that would benefit from your expertise.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Some presentation opportunities offer stipends/honoraria while other offer experience and professional exposure.

The Office of Professional Development is always looking for new ideas, compelling best practices, and energizing presenters for practical, engaging trainings developed specifically for social workers.

If you are interested in sharing your knowledge and expertise with your colleagues, please submit a proposal and let’s see how we can work together.

The Texas Workforce Commission Child Care & Early Learning Division is hosting three conferences in 2027 to support early childhood educators from across the state. The audience will be comprised of early childhood professionals including child care administrators (owners & directors), early childhood teachers and child care staff from Texas Rising Star-certified programs.

We are seeking presentations that provide innovative ideas, tools, resources, information, and application strategies for high quality, responsive and intentional experiences for all children in an early childhood classroom. Selected presentations will be paid $750 per presenter, per session.

The goal is to offer three similar conferences, and we would like to have speakers who can attend all three conferences to ensure the experiences of the attendees are as consistent and comparable as possible.

If you are interested in presenting and are available for the dates above, please complete the Call for Presenters via this link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/2027TRSEEC

One session proposal per submittal. Submission deadline is July 15, 2026.
