Austin- Texas, February 10, 2013 – The DiNitto Center for Career Services at The University of Texas at Austin School of Social Work today announced the launch of a new website that helps automate numerous functions found within the career center and enhances the services offered to campus students and employers.
Powered by CSO Research’s Interfase system, this new site streamlines student and employer registration, resume referrals, document management, placement tracking, job posting and management, career fair management, resume books and services for alumni. As a result, students have 24×7 access to easily register, search jobs, send online inquiries, and manage multiple resumes, cover letters, and other employment related documents. Employers can quickly and easily post jobs on campus, choose to receive “online applications” directly from the system with current resumes attached, sign up for career fairs and much more.
“We are very excited about the launch of this new website as it exemplifies the focus of our office on supporting the needs of social work students, alumni and employers. By implementing this new system we will continue to enhance our services related to career exploration, full-time student and alumni employment opportunities, and exclusive access to our employers”, said Jennifer Luna Jackson, LMSW-AP, Director of the DiNitto Center for Career Services.
“Steer Your Career, from an employer perspective, is very easy to use. It is a great tool to find qualified and competitive candidates. Knowing that potential employees are trained by the UT School of Social work means that we can trust that candidates are prepared and ready to hit the ground running in the positions we are recruiting for.” – Louis A.
