I received a Bachelors in Urban and Regional Planning from Florida Atlantic University in South Florida. While I’ve never worked in my field, I’ve used my skills and experience to be the best admin I can be. After moving to Austin and becoming a part of the UT Austin family, I realized I wanted a career change. I wanted to do something meaningful and be a part of a team that is making a difference not only today, but for the future too. I work as an administrative program coordinator for the Texas Institute for Excellence in Mental Health. I handle all the admin tasks for projects focused on children, and I help keep everything running smoothly. I provide project-support administration and help facilitate team meetings, trainings, workshops, purchasing, travel, and data compilation. In my spare time, I love reading and am always on the hunt for more books. I’m happy to call Austin home, and I enjoy exploring the city with its wide variety of art, music, great food, and fun events. I love meeting new people as well as spending time with my dog and my friends.
