Tom Dunning, a 1965 graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, is Chairman Emeritus of Lockton Dunning Benefits, the Lead Director on Oncor Electric Delivery and is a former Chairman of the Dallas Citizens Council. He is married to Sally Dunning, and they have two children and two grandchildren. Tom has been very active in civic and non-profit organizations and has served in leadership positions for the city of Dallas and the state of Texas. Dallas Mayors have appointed Tom to chair several important boards including Dallas Together, an 87-person group to address underlying racial issues, and the DFW International Airport Board. Tom was appointed as Dallas’ first Homeless Czar to form a committee to build a new homeless assistance center, The Bridge. Governors of Texas have appointed Tom to serve on the following boards: Texas Department of Transportation, Texas Turnpike Authority, Texas Department of Human Services, Texas Department of Criminal Justice and Chair, The Texas Water Development Board.
