Raven Garza (she/they) is a Communications Specialist for the Texas Institute for Excellence in Mental Health (TIEMH). They’re a self-taught marketer with 5 years of experience in content writing and copywriting. Raven graduated from UT Austin with a Bachelor’s in English Literature and a minor in Art History. During their undergrad, they worked as a Research Assistant for TIEMH and gained an appreciation for the institute’s amazing work across Texas.
Raven takes pride in creating content that helps raise awareness of TIEMH’s projects and their positive impact on the community. In their free time, they love going to live shows, reading manga, writing about Latine culture + queer experiences, and taking solo trips around the world.
