Quan Cosby graduated from The University of Texas at Austin School of Social Work with his BSW in 2009. While at UT, Quan played football for the Longhorns as a wide receiver and was a member of the 2005 National Championship team. He also started a football camp in his hometown of Mart, Texas, that teaches children and adolescents life skills. After graduation, Quan entered the NFL as a free agent, playing for the Cincinnati Bengals, Denver Broncos, Indianapolis Colts, and Jacksonville Jaguars. He now lives in Austin with his wife and two young daughters and is a Commercial Risk Advisor with MHBT, a Marsh & McLennan Agency LLC company. Quan also serves on the board of directors for the YMCA of Central Texas and the 100 Club of Central Texas.
