Olivia-Beth Horak (Name/She) is a therapist at Waterloo Counseling Center, a non-profit bringing sliding scale mental health services to the Central Texas LGBTQIA+ community.  She earned her Bachelor of Social Work (Cultures and Identities, emphasis in Sexuality and Gender Identity) in 2006 and Master of Science in Social Work (Clinical Concentration) at The University of Texas at Austin, Steve Hicks School of Social Work in 2011. Olivia-Beth has over 15 years of experience in social work with extensive experience working with adolescents and young adults. She also brings over seven years of experience as an agency spokesperson for various non-profits to the SWAN Board. She is most proud of co-founding a camp for LGBTQIA+ youth in 2009, Spirit Pride Project. Olivia-Beth is happiest being surrounded by water, food, and the great outdoors.
