Molly Platz, LMSW, received her Master’s of Science in Social Work from the Steve Hicks School of Social Work at The University of Texas at Austin in 2016. Throughout her social work experience, Molly has worked with survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, sexual health and education, adult mental health, and peer support programming. Molly currently serves as a Program Manager for the Institute, supporting research initiatives, program implementation, and event planning. In addition, Molly serves as the Communications Specialist, leading efforts in graphic design and communications.
In addition to her current role at UT Austin, Molly works part-time as a communications and graphic design consultant, supporting a number of national nonprofits. Molly feels passionate about resolving systematic barriers within communities to best serve underserved populations in need of advocacy surrounding health, education and safety.
