Dr. Kelley T. Glover, Ph.D., is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Hogg Foundation for Mental
Health at the University of Texas at Austin. Her research and publications integrate
educational leadership and culturally responsive arts-based methodologies, with recent
projects focusing on diversity in health research and interdisciplinary approaches to
mental well-being. She earned her Ph.D. in School Improvement from Texas State
University, where her dissertation explored educational leadership through the
embodied, somatic, lived experiences of Black women music educators. She earned a
Master of Arts degree from the Eastman School of Music and a Bachelor of Music
Education from Howard University.

Dr. Glover brings over two decades of experience in PK–12 education, music pedagogy,
music performance, and culturally responsive teaching. She is the founder of U BETTER
Sing!, a music education technology company featured on the PBS series, Blackademics,
that integrates arts and arts integration practices. Her leadership spans roles as a
mentor coach, executive director, and choral director, with a strong emphasis on social-
emotional learning and community engagement.
