Juli Earley is a researcher with the Steve Hicks School of Social Work’s Texas Institute for Excellence in Mental Health. She received her master of science in social work from The University of Texas at Austin and is a licensed social worker. Prior to joining the instiute’s team, she worked in a non-profit agency, providing services to people with disabilities and people who are homeless. Her research interests are to involve more people with lived experience in research processes on a participatory basis. Juli is mother of three active girls. She is the president of a junior roller derby league and a referee for lower division roller derby games. She also enjoys painting and re-learning how to play the clarinet.
