Jennifer Banister is program coordinator with the Steve Hicks School of Social Work’s Texas Institute for Excellence in Mental Health. She received a masters of research in social anthropology from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland focusing on culture shock and education amongst British soldiers. In her position she handles the budgets, event planning and technology vetting and adaptation. Jennifer is an avid swing dancer and improv comedienne. She enjoys event managing for non-profits, dance, music and theatre festivals.
