Erin Swearingen is a University of Texas Alum, excited to bring her passion for helping others to the Center for Societal Impact. Erin graduated with a degree in Government, with a focus on law and political communications. Erin has spent 5 years in the local political sphere, working on county and local campaigns, volunteering for voter education and community groups, and completing policy research in the statehouse. During her time in the Texas Legislature, Erin worked for Representatives John H. Bucy and Erin Zwiener, specializing in elections, higher education, and energy policy. In her free time Erin enjoys cooking, hiking, and keeping up with local politics. She is delighted to be joining the team at CSI, and looks forward to helping students and partners alike as we work to create a stronger community.
