Ella Irwin is a graduate from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies with an emphasis on political communications and a minor in Journalism and Media Studies. As an undergraduate, Ella was a research assistant at the Center for Media Engagement where she published work detailing modern ethical concerns within the communications field. Ella worked in the philanthropy department at Roc Nation in New York City where she facilitated numerous charitable projects designed to enhance engagement between clients and community members. Recently, she interned at the YMCA of the Rockies working with donors and members to strengthen the impact and reach of the mission of the Y. In her free time, Ella enjoys practicing yoga, hiking around Town Lake, and attending UT football games. Ella is excited to join the Moritz Center for Societal Impact and looks forward to working with the team to create tangible, significant solutions to better our community.
