Eden Blesener is the Senior Academic Program Coordinator for Practicum Education at the UT Austin Steve Hicks School of Social Work. In this role, Eden manages the Office of Practicum Education, oversees placements for approximately 350 students each year, co-chairs the Community Partnership Development Committee, and organizes key events for students and community partners.
Before joining SHSSW in 2019, Eden served as a specialist in the U.S. Peace Corps in Dominica and as a Qualified Mental Health Professional at Integral Care, where she provided crisis intervention services. Eden earned her Bachelor of Arts degrees in Social Work and Psychology from Saint Edward’s University in 2015 and is currently an Advanced Standing MSSW Candidate at UT Austin.
