Dee Dee received her bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies and a minor degree in gerontology from Colorado State University. She earned a Master’s of Science in Social Work from The University of Texas at Austin with specialized training in working with older adults through the Gerontology Resources and the Aging Community in Education (GRACE) program. Her experience includes providing admissions and social services within long-term care facilities, assisting with discharge planning in hospital settings, and providing services for individuals and families who are impacted by a cancer diagnosis. Her interests lie in assisting clients and their families in navigating the older adult care system and improving quality of life in later life.
