Cory Barnard is a lifelong advocate for community engagement and education. She earned her Master of Science in Social Work in 1998 from The University of Texas at Austin and has held development roles with United Way of the Capital Area and the March of Dimes. Cory currently serves on the board and teaches at Literacy Achieves, a non-profit empowering English-language learners. She is also on the board of the Woodrow Wilson High School Community Foundation providing scholarships to graduating seniors. She and her husband live in Dallas and are the proud parents of two college students.
