Course: Foundations of Social Justice
Background: Brenda Fierro, LCSW, has 15 years of experience providing high quality clinical supervision focused on social work ethics as the primary framework for culturally relevant practice, the development of critical thinking through self-reflection and facilitating professional growth through strength-based guidance and education. Fierro currently serves as the Program Manager for Families with Voices Collaborative at Austin Travis County Integral Care/Child and Family Services Division. She has also been a part of numerous community presentations, including “Latino Immigrants and Trauma,” as a guest speaker.
