Ann (Kirkley) Utley, as Chairman and President of Utley Education Foundation, promotes education that prepares individuals and educators for the 21st century and beyond by availing exemplary opportunities to receive an exceptional education that matches goals, talents, and acumen. Ann attended The University of Mary Hardin Baylor, Temple Junior College and received her MBA from The University of Texas at Dallas. She and her husband, Bob, have two sons, two daughters-in-law and seven grandchildren. Ann served as Chairman of the Texas Department of Mental Health and Mental Retardation (MHMR), President of the Mental Health Association in Texas, Chairman of the National Mental Health Association and served as Interim CEO of the National Mental Health Association. She has been an analyst for The Utley Group and was the CEO of TextOrder.com. She owned and was financial manager for Salado Galleries in Salado, Texas for twenty-one years. She has served on the Board of Development and The School of Management Advisory Board, both at The University of Texas at Dallas. She has also served on bank boards, boards that supported the homeless, and boards that supported the arts and humanities.
