Amy Schryver is a Project Manager for the Innovative Healing Centered Project with the Texas Institute for Excellence in Mental Health at the Steve Hicks School of Social Work. She received a Bachelor of Science in exercise science from Brigham Young University-Idaho and a Master of Science in health and kinesiology with a focus on community health from The University of Texas at San Antonio. Prior to joining TIEMH, she worked for the Air Force Medical Readiness Agency where she developed, implemented, and managed health promotion programs focused on nutrition, physical activity, sleep, mental health, and tobacco-free living for 76 Air Force Military Treatment Facilities. Amy is passionate about health and wellness as a holistic approach and strives to make a positive impact in the community and is focused on highlighting innovative approaches to mental health and substance use prevention. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor adventures such as climbing to the top of the Grand Teton. She is a devoted Longhorn football fan, and loves traveling and spending time with family and friends.
