Alyssa Aguirre has been a geriatric clinical social worker for 15 years, dedicating her career to designing new models of dementia care, advancing social and biomedical research, and providing direct patient care to patients and family caregivers. She currently serves as the Assistant Director of Dementia Care Transformation for The University of Texas Dell Medical School Department of Neurology and is an Assistant Professor of Practice at the UT Steve Hicks School of Social Work.
