SHS Community,
Students are our top priority. As part of our continued efforts to reduce the cost to students for a Steve Hicks School education, I am excited to share news of new funding to support students.
In spring 2024, we will award Moritz Practicum Scholarships. These scholarships will provide $5,000 to approximately 20 individual BSW & MSSW students completing their final practicum.
More details regarding application and eligibility will be forthcoming. Additional new scholarships and funding opportunities will also be announced in the coming weeks.
I remain grateful to the Moritz family for their generous support of SHS students and our school’s mission. I want to express gratitude as well to Marie Cloutier, our Executive Director of Development and Constituent Relations, and Emma Millerick, our Development Specialist, for their excellent and ongoing work to help increase financial support for students.
We are just getting started!
