London Maymester: Social Justice and Social Change
Steve Hicks School professors lead this four-week course in London, UK, during late May to mid-June. Students are immersed in London’s multicultural landscape through field trips to diverse neighborhoods, nonprofits, social services agencies and governmental organizations. Students also participate in lectures with eminent scholars and community leaders.
Projects with Underserved Communities (PUC)
Join a team of social work and engineering students to design and implement a project in response to the needs of a community and in collaboration with a local partner.
PUC teams have helped in communities around the world with projects like improving sanitation, accessing clean water, installing solar panels, and building health clinics.
