Anna Mangum, MSW, MPH is Senior Health Strategist at the Moritz Center for Societal Impact, having previously served in this role at the Health Behavior Research and Training Institute. A macro social worker who has focused her career at the intersection of public/population health and social work, Anna has served as a senior leader with a variety of major national health- and behavioral health-related advocacy, trade and research organizations. She began her career at the government watchdog group, Common Cause, and then served as a congressional aide covering health and education issues in the U.S. House of Representatives. She subsequently held leadership posts with the National Association of Social Workers (where she was Chief of Programs), the National Committee for Quality Assurance, 340B Health and the American Hospital Association. She earned her MSW and MPH from the University of California at Berkeley and was a Fulbright Scholar in Sweden, her country of origin. She earned her BA at the University of Virginia.
