Jon Cook

Jon Cook is an Events Program Coordinator with School of Social Work’s Office of Professional Development, where he supports CEU certification and the planning and execution of numerous conferences and professional trainings for partner state agencies. Jon graduated from the University of Texas with a BA in Theatre Arts, and before returning to UT to work, was a freelance Theatre Artist and Educator for over a decade. He is thrilled to apply his event planning acumen and passion for continuing education to the mission driven institution that is UT Social Work. In his off time, you may find him playing guitar at a local honky-tonk, producing a Shakespeare play, kayaking a river, in the audience, or even on the stage, at a local theater.
