Amy Mizcles, MSSW, is a community builder and connector with over 20 years of experience in grassroots advocacy, public policy, government relations, program development, and nonprofit executive leadership. Currently, she serves as the Program Officer for Rural Community Investments at the Central Texas Community Foundation, where she fosters partnerships and provides capacity-building resources to small, rural, and under-resourced nonprofits and grassroots leaders.

Community involvement is a core value for Amy, and she currently serves on both the University of Texas at Austin Steve Hicks School of Social Work Alumni Association Board and the Round Rock Chamber Board of Directors, where she chairs the Business Climate Council. Amy is also a proud co-founder of Latinos in Round Rock, a community group that connects, celebrates, and empowers professionals in the Round Rock area.

Amy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Environmental Studies from Baylor University, as well as a Master of Science in Social Work with a focus on Community and Administrative Leadership from the University of Texas at Austin. She also earned a Certificate in Nonprofit Leadership and Management from the Center for Community-Based and Nonprofit Organizations at Austin Community College.
