Raniah found her true passion in talking with and advising students, which is why her leading roles as an Academic Student Advisor at University of Phoenix, Manchester Business School, and PWC Academy are amongst her most cherished. She considers herself fortunate to have lived and networked with diverse students and colleagues that cultivated her intercultural fluency skills – not to mention the great friendships she’s made along the way.

She completed my MBA at Maastricht School of Management in the Netherlands. Her business studies and prior corporate experience have allowed her to back up my academic advising with an understanding of venturing into the real world of finding a job.

She recently relocated back to the U.S. after living in Dubai for 15 years. She was born in the US.. and when my father finished his Ph.D. at UC Berkeley, her family moved to Egypt. She would later relocate on her own to live in Phoenix, Arizona; Dubai, California, and now Austin

She is bilingual, with fluency in English and Arabic. She’s “slightly” obsessed with crime shows and podcasts, and loves reading and traveling. In fact, she chose visit Austin for the first time after reading the book “The Last thing He told Me” a thriller that takes the reader all over Austin. She looks forward to working with students at SHS.
