Shannon Doyle has worked on the AdoptUSKids Evaluation Team since October 2023. She hold’s a Bachelor of Arts in History and Women’s & Gender Studies, as well as a Masters of Science in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin. Her professional background includes research and policy work related to healthcare, immigration, and child welfare. She is dedicated to advocating for system-level change to support equal opportunity and improve access to health, housing, and education for all communities.
As part of the AdoptUSKids Evaluation Team, Shannon works to support a wide range of evaluation projects related to adoption and foster care through data collection, analysis and reporting. Her policy and advocacy background helps provide an inclusive, well-informed lens to her data work. Since being part of the team, she has found a passion for policy related to supporting kinship care and improving state child welfare systems.
Originally from England, Shannon has lived in Texas since 2007. She lives with her partner in Austin, Texas and enjoys crafts, such as crochet and embroidery, reading, and traveling.
