December 5, 2023

SHS Students,

As the semester draws to a close, I want to take a moment to express my deep appreciation for your dedication and hard work throughout this term. Your commitment to the field of social work, which I witness frequently, inspires me and, I know, many others.

I understand that this time of year can be particularly challenging as due dates for final assignments and exams approach, and I wish each of you the very best as you manage these demands. May your efforts be rewarded and reflect the depth of knowledge and understanding you have gained over the semester.

Remember, you are not alone. Your professors, peers, and the entire academic community stand ready to support you.

As you finish the semester, take a moment to reflect on your accomplishments and the positive impact you are making or will make in the lives of others through your chosen path in social work. Your dedication to creating positive change is commendable, and I could not be more excited about the meaningful contributions each of you will make to the field.

Finally, know that I wish you a joyful holiday season and a well-deserved break.

Equally, after hard-earned rest, I will be eager to welcome you back, ready to continue the journey all of us in the SHS community share.

Kind regards,

Allan Cole
