The UT Austin School of Social Work (SSW) has received funding from the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) to further the development of integrated health/behavioral health curriculum and to offer stipend(s) to highly qualified students who commit to pursuing post-graduation employment in integrated health clinical setting. The award from CSWE complements SSW’s 3-year award from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) that supports the recruitment and training of 19 social work master’s students from underserved populations for careers in Integrated Behavioral Health Care.
The student(s) selected to receive the CSWE stipend will demonstrate ability and commitment to work effectively in the field of integrated behavioral health care based on coursework, professional interests, and commitment to working in clinical settings that serve underserved populations.
