Aaron Braverman, LCSW-S, is a licensed clinical social worker in UT Health Austin’s Post-COVID-19 Program. He is also a part of the Integrated Behavioral Health care team. He specializes in caring for patients who are experiencing long-term symptoms of COVID-19 and provides individual psychotherapy and case management services, which includes connecting patients with resources to help them navigate the long-term impact of COVID-19.

Aaron Braverman earned his master’s in social work from Columbia University and his bachelor’s in political science/communications studies from The University of Iowa. He also earned a post-graduate certificate in cognitive behavior therapy from Adelphi University and has completed trainings in acceptance and commitment therapy and solution-focused brief therapy.

Aaron Braverman has worked in both inpatient and outpatient behavioral health settings as well as in higher education. His clinical interests include helping individuals improve their overall wellbeing and cope with chronic illness. He is a member of the National Association of Social Workers.
