Topic: Engaging Social Workers in Boosting COVID-19 Vaccine Confidence, Uptake and Access. Target

Audience: Interprofessional and multidisciplinary health care providers, educators, and students.

Objectives: 1) Demonstrate how motivational interviewing (MI) can help social workers build confidence in COVID vaccination and cope with pandemic fatigue. 2)Employ the MI spirit and compare how it aligns with social work values and principles. 3) Acquire best practices for screening, brief intervention, and referral to treatment (SBIRT) to promote vaccine confidence, uptake, and access.
