Research Project Director
Caitlin Sulley is director of the Sexual Assault Research Portfolio at the Steve Hicks School of Social Work’s Institute on Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault (IDVSA). The Sexual Assault Research Portfolio consists of a variety of research, evaluation, and training projects aimed to build knowledge on sexual assault. Sulley currently directs research and training initiatives focused on institutional response to sexual assault, gender-based violence among college populations, and victim engagement in the criminal justice system. She served survivors of sexual assault and family violence in law enforcement and community-based settings.
Prior to moving to Austin, she worked in the maternal and child health field in New Jersey. Sulley received her Master of Science in Social Work in 2013 and is a Licensed Master Social Worker in the State of Texas.
