Adjunct Assistant Professor
Jaclyn N. Sepp is a lecturer in the School of Social Work at The University of Texas at Austin.
She is a licensed professional counselor, registered play therapist and national certified counselor. She received her master’s degree in counseling from Texas State University’s CACREP accredited program and her bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in applied learning & development from The University of Texas at Austin. She has 11 years of experience in education, four years as a professional school counselor and seven years as an elementary school teacher.
Jaclyn also has a private practice, Ensemble Therapy, where she works therapeutically with children and their families. She has had many years of experience with children of all ages and she regularly attends workshops, trainings and conferences in addition to reviewing the latest literature in the field of counseling. She is an active member of The American School Counseling Association, Association for Play Therapists, Texas Counseling Association and Hill Country Chapter of the Texas Association for Play Therapy. She has given presentations on using play therapy in schools, helping children heal through research-based practices, and helping families heal from separation, divorce and military deployment. Austin has been her home for the last 15 years.
