Noah Moss is an administrative associate with the Steve Hicks School of Social Work’s Addiction Research Institute. He received his BA in History from The University of Texas at Austin, where he focused on the history of scientific research and globalization. He began his career at a criminal defense law firm, becoming a paralegal interested in finding avenues to keep at-risk people out of the criminal justice system. Noah joined the School of Social Work in April 2022, aspiring to support efforts to stop overdoses and the criminalization of them. He is passionate about advocating for public policies that build public trust and bolster public health. Noah is also passionate about being sent images of people’s pets, and singing karaoke with his friends.
