Sarah McCafferty, LCSW

Adjunct Assistant Professor

Sarah McCafferty, LMSW has been a lecturer for the University of Texas at Austin School of Social Work since 2009. Sarah has over ten years experience in social science research and program evaluation through her work at the Oregon Social Learning Center, Theatre Action Project, the Center for Women in Society, and UT’s Center for Social Work Research. The majority of her work however has been a blend of the micro, mezzo, and macro areas of practice with a focus on issues pertaining to disadvantaged youth, domestic and sexual violence, coalition building, community organizing, and family functioning/parental interventions.

Sarah serves as a Field Instructor for several local universities in her current position at Communities in School of Central Texas and has served on the Texas School Social Workers Conference planning committee since 2008.
