Macy Margolin is operations coordinator for the Texas Institute for Child & Family Wellbeing. She grew up in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. She studied ecology and plant science at Colorado College and has a BA in Biology. Macy has worn many professional hats, including stints as a ski instructor and vegetable farmer. She has worked in a variety of social service organizations that focus on youth wellbeing, including program development at a family homeless shelter, implementing wellbeing initiatives at a college health center, and working directly with adolescents and young adults experiencing mental health crisis. Macy has an MSSW from The University of Texas at Austin, where she learned that she loves applying her clinical knowledge, creativity, love of spreadsheets and passion for social justice to organizational development.
