Beth Hutton is a Licensed Professional Counselor, and received her Master of Science degree in Counseling, as well as an undergraduate degree in Social Work from the University of Central Missouri. She is the Project Manager for Programs with the Addiction Research Institute as well as the lead Technology Transfer Specialist for Region 6 of the Opioid Response Network, housed within the Steve Hicks School of Social Work at the University of Texas at Austin.

Beth has 30 years of experience in substance use and mental health services. She strives to ensure that providers have the training, tools and resources needed to implement evidence-based and promising-practice services to their communities.

Professional Interests

Reducing barriers to treatment and recovery support services, promoting equitable delivery of services to marginalized communities, and educating communities to reduce the number of substance use overdoses.
